This 6-week acrylic painting course is aimed at the beginner or those with some experience. Come along and join our art group and liberate your artistic ability in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. We will all start from the beginning and from there together we will develop your idea and the direction you want explore. We will prepare your canvas and how to get what's in your head onto the canvas. We will also discuss the equipment you need to begin this fun and fulfilling journey into creating your own works of art. 

I cater for all styles of painting - landscape, abstract, or still-life, and I encourage you to bring along a range of examples from other artists that you may be interested in.

The course will be run over 6 Wednesday mornings from 10 am until 12.30 pm. Each lesson will explore a range of skills and as with most things you will learn that preparation is the key. We will all be starting with a blank canvas which we will prepare for the painting to begin. My studio is light and airy, I have an easel for all students. Tea & coffee provided - although you are welcome to bring anything you prefer.

A beginners kit is available for purchase @ $65 - this consists of a 450mm x 350mm canvas, a set of 24 acrylic paints and a set of paint brushes. Other items like gesso and glaze mediums are included. Please let me know if you would like to purchase a kit - or just part of it - otherwise you are most welcome to bring your own paints and brushes.
